I can agree the menu is rather limited in comparison to some games, but please keep in mind I never said those games didn't have other ways to navigate the menu, I only stated I'm used to this particular configuration due to experience.

The only thing i'd like to state this point forward is that I never said Flash Games didn't accept mouse inputs to navigate menus.

"It also sounds like a funny little paradox to me" fucking imagine, a game that changes its control scheme randomly between a few templates throughout the period of the game. (Yeah it's not related to the original topic at all but that sounds like a hell game)

I actually wanted to respond to this to give my opinion, as well as metion the fact I find you fascinating (I literally created this account for the purpose of replying to this alone). As a long time internet user, I've had an assload of both flash and or indie games under my belt, and this is no exception. The attack and block/dodge buttons being used as menu navigation is actually a staple thing I've seen countless times in this market; I had 0 issue navigating the menu with this scheme. The part compelling me to reply here is you being able to write such a well thought out and intelligent review and not knowing about this. You seem like exactly the sort of lad that would know about this; are you perhaps new to the indie genre? (And to nip anything in the ass, no this is not an insult and there is absolutely nothing wrong with finding the scheme uncomfortable, everyone has different preferences. I'm saying that the fact you had such an unfortunate time with the menu navigation seems odd since you appear very experienced)
